With some bits and bobs left over in my garage I cut up several bolts and other interesting parts that filled the gaps I cut, to give the legs more "industrial" detail.

To attach the ankle cylinders I screwed in a woodscrew then removed the head, before gluing the metal tube into position.

The guys at Space Promotion also sent me a Zalman fan controller too - however, a rectangular box doesn't easily fit into a round case, so I needed to make some support brackets.

In addition to that, I also cut the space for the fan controller in the side of the can with a Dremel, then de-burred the edges so fingers weren't cut when operating it.

The PC I am using is an antique: an old redundant office PC, I got for free. It's a P4 2.8GHz with 768MB of RAM and a 64MB GeForce MX400 race monster. It's a PC mod after all!

Next I found an old metal cylinder used to contain wiring, then measured it up and sliced it in half. Around the rim I cut two grooves for the screws in the leg, so it would sit flush against it. The brushed stainless steel matched the main can very nicely!
